Runa Yin

Yin is a style of yoga where postures are held for longer periods of time thus targeting the connective tissue of the body. Physically, this allows us to affect change in the ligaments, tendons, and fascia (the connective tissue around and within the muscle). Most of the postures are done closer to the floor and target the hips and spine. Poses are held anywhere from 45 seconds to 5 minutes facilitating healing of the body and the mind.

Runa Barre

Classes offer a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other practices like yoga and Pilates to invigorate the core, arms, glutes and thighs.  Expect a class that focuses on small, pulsing movements with emphasis on form, alignment and core engagement. This class offers a complement to your yoga practice and incorporates elements of dance, strength, and balance. Bring your mat!

Heated Yin

This class is much like Runa Yin, just slightly more heated. This helps us to affect change in the ligaments, tendons, and fascia (the connective tissue around and within the muscle). Most of the postures are done close to the floor and target the hips and spine. Poses are held anywhere from 45 seconds to 5 minutes facilitating healing of the body and the mind.

Runa Restore

This therapeutic style of yoga is a practice of non-doing, and focuses on effortlessness and ease, using various props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks, and sandbags to safely support the body in restful postures. This process replenishes and nourishes the body, boosting it’s immune system, releasing tightness in muscles and joints, balancing the nervous system, reducing anxiety and mental stress and improving sleep.

Runa Prenatal

Expecting mothers of any trimester and any level are encouraged to join us. This is a great way to strengthen the body and help provide union of the breath and mind. Empowering the expecting mother for delivery and beyond. Creating a supportive community of expecting mothers.

Runa Sculpt

+ Flow

Runa Sculpt is a dynamic class incorporating BOTH vinyasa yoga sequencing and high intensity interval training to increase your stamina, agility, strength and flexibility.  This class will invigorate you and challenge both your aerobic and anaerobic systems into this fun, sweaty and upbeat class!

Yoga In The Yurt: Full Moon Flow

Full moons are used as a way to mark the passage of time. They are named after the seasons and events occurring in nature at the time of the full moon. These are useful times in our lives for rounding things out to full completion. In a sense, something comes to an end, ready for a brand-new phase to begin. We have created a vinyasa yoga flow around a full moon theme.

Yoga For Runners

Yoga for Runners is a great way for runners, triathletes, and other endurance athletes to gain flexibility, balance, and core strength. The movements in each class help to release tightness in common problem areas for runners. Run Yoga instructors provide multiple modified options for each pose, allowing participants to push themselves to the degree they feel comfortable pursuing.
